25 Man ICC Progression is Officially Over

As you all know our attendance has been an issue for some time. We managed to get through ICC 25 up to Lich King on regular mode in what most would consider a somewhat timely fashion when you think about our issues with filling the raid each night.

A while back we stepped up our recruiting and put out posts on multiple sites as well as implemented incentives and consequences for showing up and not showing up. Unfortunately this only had a minimal effect. With cataclysm coming up and school coming to an end we just cannot seem to keep the raid full enough with people that are geared and experienced enough to put significant effort into progression.

I feel we have exhausted all possibilities with regards to effort that the officers can put out while still balancing real life duties. As a result we will no longer be pursuing 25 man raid progression. I'm sure many of you saw this coming. It saddens me to say this as I've been a part of this guild for some time and I really don't want to stop but I see no other option as the frustration seems to only fester and increase. I will continue to do my 10 mans and play on my various alts. Who knows what may happen on down the road with raiding in Cataclysm?
